Toronto Art Expo: Brushwork Bouquet

At Toronto’s 2007 Art Expo, Calligraphy from Noriko’s private collection was displayed as a centerpiece in the entrance hall. The 6 pieces each expressed a unique style of the various characters for “flower” and were all presented on large, vertical format, hand-woven washi paper measuring 200 cm by 120 cm. As one of the Expo’s featured artists, Noriko chose the pieces so that “each of the visitors would receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers as soon as they arrived.”
