Book Launch Party

On October 19th, a book launch event was held at the Japan Foundation in Toronto to celebrate the new publication of Noriko Maeda: Foundations and the opening of the exhibition for the unique artworks created for the book. The evening was a wonderful event with talks by the calligrapher and the editor of the book, which was supported by a great many number of attendees. The party was also the official premier of the film created by Mail and Plate of the process of calligraphy made specifically for this project.
The book launch came with a special book signing by the calligrapher with her ink and brush, which was completed with a seal of the books purchased at the event.
