This is a poem about the Japanese love affair with their extraordinary cherry blossom season. It is not simply a blossoming of a beautiful flower, but the affair is with the world of cherry blossoms that engulfs our five senses. When the gust of wind sweeps the petals into the air, and everything turns into the infinite variations of the rosy colour, our breaths are taken away.
